Jae Day: We Need our Power & Voices Back
Meet Jae Day - S4JR Member and Ontario Chapter Co-Rep
“I’m a survivor of multiple sexual assaults in the Canadian Armed Forces and I’m a birth & postpartum doula. I am often referred clients of SA past history as birth can be unknown and bring up past traumas. I advocate for survivors, families & mothers “
I’m a Survivor and I Stand for Restorative Justice Because…
“....everyone should have a choice. Everyone has the right to decide what justice means for their case. It is imperative that the government takes the necessary steps to protect survivors and their families. Our choices as survivors were taken away when we were sexually assaulted, Justice doesn’t need to be a one size fits all. We need our power and voices back.”
