“...while single perpetrators of Childhood SA may face individual punishment, our social system that allows for these atrocities is not addressed. I was abused by a man who, from the outside, was an upstanding community member, which prevented family friends and teachers from taking appropriate steps when the abuse was reported.

I stand for transformative justice because as long as our system continues to place victim's testimonies as secondary to their evaluation of the potential perpetrator, more children will be victimized.”
